<p>Takedown class will go over wrestling and Judo shots, sweeps, and throws.&nbsp; The stand up portion is very important for those who are interested in competing.&nbsp; Bringing an opponents to the ground safely while maintaining control is a difficult task.&nbsp; We will ensure that it occurs in a safe manor.</p>
<p>Fundamentals will go over  the basic positions in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and how to control your  opponent and defend yourself in these positions.&nbsp; This is a very  important part of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu that is often overlooked.&nbsp; Some  basic submissions, defenses, and sweeps will be taught as well.&nbsp;  There will be positional sparring at the end of class.&nbsp; Takedown classes are included with fundamentals programs.</p>
<p>Advanced will go over more advanced submissions, defenses, and sweeps.&nbsp;  You must have 3 stripes on your white belt to attend advanced class.&nbsp; Takedown and fundamentals classes are included with advanced programs.<br /> <br /><iframe width="700" height="394" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/MyP0V2bjqxA" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe></p>
<p>Gym gis are limited in sizes and quantities, 1st come 1st serve, for beginners only.</p>
<p>Open Mats are open to anyone with an intermediate experience level from any school. &nbsp;You do not need to be a member of Tutaj BJJ to attend open mats.&nbsp;  A $5 mat fee is suggested for non members, although higher donations will help ensure that this open mat continues.</p>
<p>Everyone must sign a waiver before training.&nbsp; There are no exceptions. &nbsp;Anyone <span class="commentbody">under 18 needs to have their parent or legal guardian sign a waiver AT Tutaj BJJ</span>. &nbsp;We will check IDs.</p>
<p>$100 per month for kids class<br /> $125 per month for fundamentals program<br /> $150 per month for advanced program<br />3 month contract necessary with automatic payment plan with debit or credit card.&nbsp; <br /><br />Discounts are available<br />- with longer contracts<br />- to multiple family members</p>
