Purple Light

Nik Nurul 'Arfah Binti Nik Hassan
Nov 8, 1978 - Dec 26, 2023

Lumen Purpureum

Goodbye Purple Light
You burned so bright
Left us too early
You will be missed surely

Open my mouth and no words come out
Tears roll down my face, no doubt
I wish I could write like you
That, I will never be able to do

Sometimes your flames burned even you
After everything you've been through
No one deserves rest more than you
I will forever love you. Toodaloo

Goodbye Purple Light

Celebrating Nik's Life

Nik travelled to Madison, Wisconsin through Irvine, California from Kota Bharu, Malaysia.

I met Nik my sophomore year in Mechanical Engineering at UW-Madison. We married June 1st 2002. She went back to school for Com Arts. We spent about 10 years in Madison and then moved to LaGrange illinois, right outside of Chicago, on Route 66.

Nik left the United States returning to Malaysia in July of 2015. We traveled together 4 times after that.
